Our buddy Andrew Major, who distributes our wines in the Los Angeles area, has been asking for a California take on Vinho Verde for years. We sourced a little Albarino from our favorite Edna Valley property last year to try it out. When produced in Portugal, these wines have a signature light spritzy character to them. Light and refreshing, and perfect with raw seafood. I think we did a pretty solid job pulling this one off on our first attempt. We utilized our brite tank (which we use for our Foxie spritzers) to add a touch of carbonation to the wine. Let us know what you think. We believe Mr. Major was onto something with this request.
